Forainer property right

After the fall of the communist system in1989 Hungary has aquired a large quantity of new laws (the form the basics for their social system) with as main points; democracy and a free market economy.
According to the current legislation foreign citizens must have state authorisation to be allowed to buy / have property.
This authorisation is granted by the head of a competent authority in the province where the real estate property is located (one can lodge an appeal when authorisation is not granted). Also the mayor of the municipality must grant authorisation, although this authorisation is not binding.

Realtors in Hungary

In Hungary the realtor is, and always must be, impartially and has as a task to bring purchaser and salesman together, he also mediates for both the purchaser and the salesman we will look after both your interests at purchase.

They must be registered in the province in which they exercise their activities.

In Hungary the broker does not have the exclusive right concerning sale of an property. A single property can be listed / offered therefore by several brokers.
